Mark found his way into online having previously worked in the print and publishing sector with Apple and Sun Microsystems.
Being the entrepreneurial type, he built his first online store ‘in the back bedroom’ back in 1998 using a copy of Fireworks V1 and a handy book entitled ‘Learn HTML in 24 Hours’. Miraculously it worked, and to Mark’s considerable surprise the site took its first order within hours of going live. He was hooked. In the intervening 11 years Mark has owned (and subsequently sold) two other online businesses, but his focus since 2001 has been driving Coolpink to become the leading full service digital agency that it is today.
When not at work, he is usually found spending time with his son, who is seven years old and takes up a lot of his remaining energy!
When he gets five minutes to spare, Mark is playing or listening to music (he plays guitar and drums), watching a good film, practicing his photography or maybe just submerged in the bath with a good book to relax. Ahhh… that’s better….
